How do you clean the baking plates?
Let the appliance cool down
completely. NEVER use hard brushes but a soft cloth and suds. Make sure the
appliance doesn’t get plunged under water or any other liquid. The baking
plates can also be cleaned in the dishwasher.
When is the CW ready for use? What lights have to be lit before one can start baking?
When you
put the electrical plug in the outlet a red light will appear automatically.
Put the thermostat on position 5 or 6. Wait until the green control lamp lights
up (the red light will always stay lit) before putting ingredients on the
grill. For a fast heating you should keep the appliance closed.
Tip: Be careful with sharp objects !
Do not use sharp objects on the baking plate, this can damage the non-stick coating.
To maintain the baking plate, we recommend that you lubricate it regularly with some oil.
Is the grill plate dishwasher proof?
You can and are allowed to put them in the
dishwasher; however, we recommend to clean them in hot water with detergent.
Can the BBQs also be used indoors?
Yes, the BBQs are removable and can be used separately as a table grill, both indoors and outdoors.
What is the hinged lid for?
The lid ensures the perfect cooking of your food and easy handling, but also serves for dust-free storage.
Are the baking plates allowed in the dishwasher?
The removable baking plates are
dishwasher proof and therefore can be cleaned in the dishwasher. Once in a
while oil the plates for a long sustainability.
Which ingredients are not suited for the baking plate?
Never use frozen foods! If defrosted
foods are used first dabble the excessive water. Otherwise you will cook the
food instead of baking it and you won’t have the desired baked result.

There are different
kinds of fondue. Our fondue appliances are suited for all sorts, so Chinese

Evidently you don’t make them all at the same temperature.
For Chinese fondue or Shabu Shabu
you use stock and for the most famous fondue Bourguignonne you use oil. Anyway
always use an oil that easily withstands high temperatures such as grapeseed
oil, special fondue oil (usually with herbs in the bottle), …
There are fine cracks in my stone. Can I still use it?
Due to the heat, the natural stone or salt stone expands, causing small cracks to appear. This is a natural phenomenon and does not affect the proper functioning of the unit.
When is the Grilltastic® ready for use? What lights have to be lit before one can start baking?
The light under the thermostat turns green.
What can I mix with the hand blender?
The hand blender can be used to mix soups, sauces and purees thanks to the 2 control knobs with variable speeds and the 6 knives.
How can the teppanyaki be cleaned?
Always allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning. The base of the appliance can be cleaned with a damp cloth. The baking plate can be washed by hand with warm water and detergent. NEVER immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. The teppanyaki does NOT fit and should NOT be cleaned in the dishwasher.

Can the table grill/teppanyaki be used outdoors?
This is possible provided that there is no moist precipitation on the appliance and that the cord is checked regularly.
What functions does the TG1475 have?
The pre-programmed functions are:
- Keep warm function
- Vegetables
- Fish/meat
- Sear function (= searing meat)
Is the TG 1475 safe?
The TG1475 has the Auto Shut Off function after 1 hour.
In which mode does the thermostat have to be in order to grill?
We advise to set the thermostat to
position 5 or 6.
How do you remove the baking plates from the appliance for cleaning?
Let the
appliance cool down completely. Use the unlocking buttons on the front of the
appliance. The baking plates are allowed in the dishwasher. When you handwash
the baking plates NEVER use hard brushes but a soft cloth.
The baking plates don’t stay in place and are coming loose. Wat should I do?
You can adjust the clip bracket,
which is made of hardened steel, a little. It doesn’t do any harm and it can’t
ever become distorted or broken.
