Gratinated Potatoes with Steak and Creamy Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients

For the steak with creamy mushroom sauce:

  • 200 g mushrooms (cut into pieces)
  • 200 ml cream
  • A handful of grated cheese (emmental)
  • 2 steaks
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Olive oil

For the potatoes:

  • 3 potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons cream
  • A generous handful of grated cheese (emmental)
  • 1 spring onion (chopped)
  • Olive oil
  • Hot air fryer

Preparation

  • Heat olive oil in a saucepan.
  • Sauté the mushrooms, add the cream, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Let it simmer on low heat until the desired thickness is reached.
  • Add the grated cheese towards the end.
  • Cut the potatoes in half.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook for 20 minutes at 150°C in the hot air fryer.
  • Mix the cream, grated cheese, and spring onion.
  • Spread the cheese mixture over the potatoes.
  • Bake for another 5 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, fry or grill the steaks to your desired doneness. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve the potatoes alongside the steak and creamy mushroom sauce.
