Soft waffles with vanilla flavor

Ingredients

  • 250 g self-raising flour
  • 150 g fine sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 175 g melted butter
  • 100 ml whole milk
  • 1 vanilla pod

Preparation

  • Mix the flour and sugar in a mixing bowl.
  • Separate the egg whites from the yolks.
  • While stirring constantly with a whisk, slowly add the melted butter, milk, and egg yolks to the flour-sugar mixture. Also, add the seeds from the vanilla pod.
  • Beat the egg whites until stiff and then gently fold them into the batter.
  • Heat the waffle iron and grease it with oil.
  • Fill the waffle plates with the batter and bake on setting 4-5 (medium heat) for about 3 minutes until golden brown.
