Sweet potato wedges

2 portions

Ingredients

  • 4 small sweet potatoes (or 2 large ones)
  • 2 tbsp white miso
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Candico Candied Cassonade Blond
  • 2 cloves of garlic, pressed
  • 1/2 tsp black sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp spring onions, sliced

Preparation

Heat the airfryer to 180°C.

Cut the sweet potatoes into equal-sized wedges.

Mix the miso, Candico Kandij Cassonade Blond soy sauce, rice vinegar, olive oil and garlic in a small bowl. Place the sliced sweet potatoes in a large bowl and pour the miso marinade over them. Mix gently until all the slices are evenly coated.

Bake the sweet potato wedges in the airfryer for 15-20 minutes or until tender and caramelised. Turn over halfway through the baking time. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and spring onions.
