How do I change the plates of my FRITEL WaffleTastic®?
With the WaffleTastic®, you can remove the plates using a convenient push button. To easily place the plates in the appliance, fully open the appliance using the release button on the right side. Then, position the plates by placing the pins (back of the plate) into the clip hook. Ensure that they are securely clicked in, otherwise, the plates may fall out. When placing the Brussels waffle plate, you can apply some pressure to the clip hook, as this plate is thicker than the other plates. The clip hook is made of hardened steel and will not deform or break.
How do I store my appliance?
You can easily store the WaffleTastic® vertically.
How do I open my WaffleTastic® 180° in BBQ mode? And what does the ‘Upright system’ mean?
You open the appliance 180° by pressing the button on the side.
Upright system means that the appliance remains open at 105°.
Can I use different types of baking plates at the same time?
No, it is recommended to use one type of baking plates at a time to ensure even baking results and prevent damage to the appliance.
Where can I buy additional accessories for this device?

What material are the CW baking plates made of?
The CW 24 series baking plates consist of solid cast aluminium, free of PFOA.
The baking plates of the new WaffleTastic® 36 series also consist of solid cast aluminium, but these have a ceramic coating making them PFAS-free.
What is the function of the lower thermostat settings if baking is always done at the highest positions anyway?
In the past waffle makers only used to have an On and Off button. This way the waffles couldn`t be defrosted, heated or (in case of grilling plates) kept warm. Thanks to the lower settings this is actually possible now.
Are the baking plates allowed in the dishwasher?
The removable baking plates are dishwasher proof and therefore can be cleaned in the dishwasher. Once in a while oil the plates for a long sustainability.
When is the CW waffle maker ready for use? What lights have to be lit before one can start baking?
When you put the electrical plug in the outlet a red light will appear automatically. Put the thermostat on position 5 or 6 - with the WaffleTastic® you open the thermostat all the way as it is stepless. Wait until the green control lamp lights up (the red light will always stay lit) before adding the dough to the waffle maker. This goes for the first waffle. As of now you can keep on baking.
For a fast heating you should keep the appliance closed.
The baking plates don`t stay in place and are coming loose. Wat should I do?
You can adjust the clip bracket, which is made of hardened steel, a little. It doesnt do any harm and it cant ever become distorted or broken.
How to clean the baking plates?
To best protect the non-stick coating of the baking plates, we recommend washing the trays by hand only in warm soapy water. NEVER use hard dishwashing brushes, only a soft cloth!
