preparing the ice cream.
How long does it take to make ice cream?
Let it run until it reaches the desired
consistency. This usually takes 30 to 40 minutes.
Can the appliance overheat?
No, this device has got an overheating safety protection.
How do I clean the ice cream maker?
Always allow the freezing bowl to reach room
temperature before cleaning. All parts, except the motor
unit, can be cleaned in warm soapy water. Always dry them carefully. Do not
clean the parts in the dishwasher. Never use abrasives. Never immerse the motor
unit in water or any other liquid. It can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Useful tips
- Never add more than 850 ml of mixture, as
the volume increases during the preparation process.
- If the mixture has been heated, allow it to
cool down first.
- In order to obtain the best results, it is
important that the freezing bowl and the mixture are both sufficiently
cold.
- Extra ingredients such as raisins,
chocolate pieces, nuts, speculoos,... can be easily added during
preparation via the fill opening.
- If you prefer harder ice, you can let it harden
further in the freezer in a storage box.
- The addition of alcohol complicates the ice
cream making process. If you still want to add a little alcohol to the
preparation, do this when the mixture is more solid, through the fill
opening in the lid.
- Make sure that the freezing bowl is always put into the freezer completely dry. By putting it in a closed plastic bag, you can prevent the formation of ice crystals in the bowl
