Yes. Although preheating is not required, you can use the Reheat function to preheat the appliance. This function is preset to 180°C for 4 minutes. For most preparations, preheating is not necessary.

During certain programs the appliance displays "SHAKE". Shaking the ingredients helps them cook more evenly and become crispier. This reminder is not available for the Cupcake, Keep Warm, Reheat and Defrost functions.

Yes. The temperature can be adjusted from 40°C to 200°C and the cooking time from 1 to 60 minutes, depending on the selected function. Besides the preset programs, you can also cook manually.

Yes. Use the Reheat function. It is preset to 180°C for 4 minutes, but both the temperature and cooking time can be adjusted.

Yes. The Keep Warm function keeps food warm at 70°C. The time can be adjusted between 1 and 60 minutes.

Yes. The SnackTastic® has dedicated programs for frozen fries and frozen snacks. Oven-ready frozen products are ideal for use in the SnackTastic®. They often require less cooking time and a lower temperature than in a conventional oven.

Yes. For the best results, peel the potatoes, cut them into fries and soak them in water for at least 30 minutes. Dry them thoroughly and mix them with approximately ½ tablespoon of oil. Spread the fries evenly in the basket and shake them halfway through cooking. Pre-fried (frozen) fries generally give the best results.

White smoke is usually harmless. It may occur when preparing fatty ingredients or when grease or food residues from a previous cooking cycle remain in the drawer. Clean the drawer and basket thoroughly after each use.

Check whether:

• the plug is properly connected;
• the drawer and basket are fully inserted;
• the closed lock symbol is visible;
• you have pressed Start after selecting the settings.

Yes. Both the basket and the grill are dishwasher safe. However, to prolong the life of the non-stick coating, we recommend washing them by hand using warm water, mild detergent and a soft washing-up brush.

Allow the appliance to cool completely and unplug it. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth. Wash the basket and grill in warm soapy water or in the dishwasher. Carefully remove food residues from the heating element with a soft washing-up brush. Never use metal utensils or abrasive cleaners.

Yes. The SnackTastic® features a Memorize function. Select the desired program, adjust the temperature and cooking time, then press and hold the selected program icon for approximately 5 seconds. A beep confirms that your settings have been saved.

Press and hold the Reheat and Defrost buttons simultaneously for approximately 10 seconds. All saved personal settings will be deleted and the SnackTastic® will return to its factory settings.

Place a sheet of aluminium foil in the drawer and pour a small amount of water onto it. Slice a lemon and place the slices on the foil. Set the SnackTastic® to 180°C for 10 minutes. Residual grease, which is often the cause of unpleasant odours, will loosen and be collected on the foil. Allow the appliance to cool and clean the drawer if necessary.
