The SMM 4980 can prepare creamy soups, chunky soups, smoothies, cold plant-based milk (grains/nuts) and hot soy milk.

The jug must always be filled between 1.3 litres (MIN) and 1.6 litres (MAX). Never exceed the MAX mark.

No. The appliance is not suitable for preparing meat.

For best results, cut vegetables and fruit into pieces of approximately 2 cm.

Yes. To improve the consistency of plant-based milk, soak the ingredients for at least 12 hours.

No. Ice cubes should not be placed in the appliance.

Yes. Thanks to the Time Memory function, ingredients can be added within 4 minutes. If it takes longer, the program must be restarted.

E1 means the overfill sensor has been activated. Reduce the contents of the jug and the appliance will automatically continue.

Hot steam is released during the Smooth Soup, Chunky Soup and Soymilk programs. This is normal. Open the lid carefully.

Yes. After the Smooth Soup, Chunky Soup and Soymilk programs, the appliance automatically keeps warm for approximately 26 minutes.

No. The jug and control unit must not be cleaned in a dishwasher.

Yes. The blades are very sharp. Handle them with care during use and cleaning.
