Fully unwind the power cord and plug the appliance into a 230 V earthed socket. The appliance must be closed. Slide the thermostat knob to the desired position. When the green indicator light comes on, the desired temperature has been reached. Open the appliance, lightly grease the plates before the first baking, add the batter and close the appliance. Remove the waffle immediately after baking.
