In a remarkable effort to combat empty lunchboxes at school, NV van Ratingen-FRITEL has decided to provide 170 children, regardless of their background, with deliciously filled lunchboxes on this day. The company, together with the KIDS school in Hasselt, has initiated this inspiring action.

On the Day of Poverty, attention is given to the challenges faced by people living in poverty. In a remarkable effort to combat empty lunchboxes at school, NV van Ratingen-FRITEL has decided to provide 170 children, regardless of their background, with deliciously filled lunchboxes on this day. The company, together with the KIDS school in Hasselt, has initiated this inspiring action.

Petra Maes and Ine Lieben, the driving forces behind this initiative, express their gratitude: “We would like to thank our CEO, Cindy van Ratingen, for the initiative and for making the budget available for this action. We purchased brand new lunchboxes in our recognizable company color and filled them with rolls, sweets, veggies, jam, cheese, apples, and much more. Thanks to the generosity of befriended entrepreneurs, we were also able to add pens, highlighters, stuffed animals, candies, and extra fruit. We are truly overwhelmed and very grateful. This proves that many entrepreneurs have their hearts in the right place.”
