"250 g self-rising baking flour100 g broken mung beans
4 g dried yeast
2 cloves of garlic
½ small Surinamese pepper
1 handful of spinach
½ tsp ground cumin
1 tsp salt
1-2 tbs water (in which the beans have soaked)

Vorbereitung
"Soak the beans 1 day in advanceRemove the seeds from the Suriname pepper
Grind the beans with the garlic and Suriname pepper in our Hi-Efficiency Blender BL 4270. If the grinding is a bit difficult, add some water in which the beans have soaked
Put the flour with the yeast, cumin and salt in a bowl and knead into a mass
Add the bean mixture to the flour mixture. Then add the spinach and some water. Mix into a ball of dough
The dough should not be too stiff but not too wet either. Otherwise, add a little water.
Leave the dough to rise for 2-3 hours
Preheat your deep fryer to 150°C
Take a ball of dough in a damp palm. Press the dough flat and make a hole in the middle
Slip the bara into the oil, fry until golden brown and then drain on kitchen paper"
