Goat cheese fondue with walnuts

€€€€€

Ingredients

1 honey bread- 100 gm pealed walnuts- 1 clove of garlic, cut in 2 -400 ml white wine -400 gm hard goat cheese -100 gm soft goat cheese -2 tbsp cornstarch -15 g fresh coriander

Preparation

Cut the honey bread in slices, toast them and cut in stripes. Roast the walnuts in a pan and let them cool down. Rub the garlic against the inside of the fondue pan and bring the wine to boiling point. Grate the hard cheese and crumble the soft cheese. Add the cheese to the wine (only add the next cheese when the fist has completely melted). Season with garlic, salt and pepper. Dissolve the cornstarch in 2-3 tablespoons of water and add to the cheese fondue. Let it boil for approximately 2 -3 minutes and dissolve if needed with some extra wine. Add the coriander. Prick the walnuts on the fondue forks and dip them with the honey bread into the cheese fondue.
