Airfryer Christmas Dessert with Puff Pastry and Nutella

Ingredients

  • 1 rectangular sheet of puff pastry
  • Nutella (or speculoos spread)
  • Icing sugar
  • 1 egg (optional, for shine)
  • Extra puff pastry or ready-made small star cookies

Further needed

  • Mini star-shaped cookie cutter
  • Long skewers
  • FRITEL Airfryer SnackTastic®

Preparation

Roll out the puff pastry.
Spread a thin, even layer of Nutella over the entire sheet.
Cut the pastry into long strips about 2 cm wide.
Fold each strip in a zigzag from wide to narrow to form a Christmas tree shape.
Insert a skewer through the center of the folded tree, from bottom to top.
Use extra puff pastry to cut out small stars with a cookie cutter.
Set aside the stars and brush them lightly with beaten egg.
Place the pastry trees and stars in the airfryer.
Bake for 8–10 minutes at 170–180°C until golden and risen.
Let cool slightly.
Place the baked stars on top of each tree.
Sprinkle with icing sugar for a festive finish.
