Homemade sausage rolls

Ingredients

  • 400 gm mixed minced meat
  • 2 slices of white bread without crust
  • 1 shallot
  • 1/2 clove of garlic
  • 2 eggs
  • Dried herbs (tarragon, sage, prov. Herbs) -chopped bay leaf + fresh sage
  • Worchester
  • Curry ketchup
  • Flour
  • Olive oil
  • 1/2 dl of milk
  • Pepper and salt
  • 2 sheets of puff pastry

Preparation

Preparation of the filling:

  • Soak the bread in the milk.
  • Sauté the shallot and garlic.
  • Mix the ground meat with 1 egg, garlic, shallot, and the soaked bread.
  • Add spices, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Mix everything well by hand.

Preparation of the dough:

  • Sprinkle flour on the work surface and roll out the puff pastry with a rolling pin.
  • Cut rectangles from the dough.
  • Beat the egg yolk.
  • Place a portion of the filling on the dough and add a little curry ketchup.
  • Roll the dough around the filling and make incisions (without cutting through).
  • Brush the dough with egg yolk.

Baking in the SnackTastic®:

  • Preheat the SnackTastic®.
  • Bake the meat rolls in small portions until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Serve immediately while warm.
