One of the most effective ways to do this is to get creative with leftovers and transform them into a delicious meal instead of. Simply reheating them in the microwave. Here are some tips that can help you transform your leftovers into a delicious meal.

1. Plan ahead
Good planning is the key to successful leftover cooking. Before you start cooking, it is helpful to think about how you will use the leftovers from your meal. For example, if you plan to make grilled chicken for dinner, consider preparing extra chicken that you can use the next day in salads, wraps or stir-fries.

Recipe: Grilled Chicken Salad Wraps
Ingredients:
- Leftover grilled chicken, cut into slices
- Mixed vegetables (e.g. lettuce, tomato, cucumber, bell bell pepper)
- Tortilla wraps
- Optional: hummus, guacamole, salsa or other sauce

Method of preparation:
1.    Divide the slices of grilled chicken and mixed vegetables evenly between the wraps. 
2.    Optionally add hummus, guacamole, salsa or sauce for extra flavor.
3.    Roll up the wraps tightly and place between one of our Grills.
4.    Grill the wrap until golden brown, then cut in half.
5.    Serve immediately as a healthy and tasty lunch or light supper.

2. Be creative
Let your creativity run wild when it comes to coming up with new dishes with leftovers. Leftovers can be transformed into soups, casseroles, omelets, pizzas or even savory pies. Combine leftover vegetables, grains and proteins with herbs and spices to create flavorful and varied dishes.

Recipe: Stuffed tomato with minced meat
Ingredients:
- 4 large tomatoes 
- 1 clove of garlic 
- 1 shallot
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 500 grams mixed minced meat
- 4 tbsp grated cheese ( gruyere, emmentaller
- Salt and pepper to taste 
- Olive oil
Preparation:
1.    Preheat the SnackTastic to 160°C.
2.    Beat the eggs with a dash of milk or cream, grated cheese, salt and pepper.
3.    Grease the baking pan and add the egg mixture and leftover vegetables.
4.    Stir gently to distribute everything evenly and place the baking pan in the SnackTastic.
5.    Bake the Frittata for 25 - 30 minutes at 160 degrees.
6.    Serve the frittata warm or at room temperature with possibly a fresh salad as a side dish.

3. Use the freezer
The freezer is your best friend when it comes to storing leftovers for later use. Portion leftovers into individual portions and freeze them for quick and easy meals on busy days. Label and date frozen items to avoid confusion and be sure to regularly check what's in your freezer so nothing goes to waste.
