Vanilla waffles with raisins

250 gm self-rising flour (sieved)
250 gm pastry flour (sieved)
500 gm butter (melted)
500 gm fine sugar
2 packets of vanilla sugar
8 eggs
Pinch of salt
400 gm soaked raisins

Keep in plastic box
Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites
Whisk the egg yolks, then add sugar and vanilla sugar and keep whisking. Then add the melted butter and the pinch of salt and whisk some more. Then add the flour and whisk until you obtain a smooth mixture.
Add 400 gm of soaked raisins to the mixture.
Whisk the egg whites in a separate bowl and carefully fold them through the mixture.
Take your FRITEL Waffle Maker with the baking plates 4x7 or 6x10, turn the thermostat to position 4 to 5 and allow the appliance to pre-heat.
Insert the dough in the Waffle Maker, close it and bake for approximately 2 minutes.


You can soak the raisons in water, but also in rhum or any other delicious liquid!
