Pancakes with bacon and cheese



250 gm flour -2 eggs -1 pinch of salt- 80 gm butter (melted)- 1/2 l milk -200 gm bacon strips- 200 gm half hard cheese in strips (f.ex. Passendale, Loo, Père Joseph)


Take your FRITEL combi Mixer and mix flour, egg yolks, salt, butter and milk until you have a smooth mixture. In the meantime, bake the bacon strips in a pan. Add these to the mixture, together with the cheese. Whisk the egg whites with the FRITEL Combi Mixer and add carefully to the mixture. Take your FRITEL waffle maker, insert the pancake baking plates and heat it up. Depending on the dough and on personal preference youll have to choose a different temperature. This will also affect the baking time. Serve these pancakes with chive and sour cream.


Recommended baking time: ca. 3,5 to 4 minutes on position 6.Make sure the ingredients are at room temperature. Before you start baking, it is recommended to put some oil on your baking plates, even though you have non-stick coating. For lump free dough it is recommended to sieve the flour.
