Beetroot hummus

Ingredients

  • 500 gm beetroot (cooked)
  • 400 gm chickpeas (1 can)
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
  • 150 gm greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp tahini sesame paste
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp after mixing
  • Pepper and salt

Preparation


Preparation time: 10 minutes
Chop the beetroot coarsely 
Put all the ingredients in the blender.
Blend to a smooth mass.
Pour the hummus into a bowl. Pour the last tablespoon of olive oil over it.
Serve as a dip with breadsticks, naan bread or raw vegetables.
Enjoy!

Tips

Add 1 tbsp of smoked paprika for a smoky taste.
