Orange-poppy seed waffles with the WA 2224

Ingredients

250 g flour
50 g Tiense Extra Fine sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
400 ml milk
2 eggs
60 g melted butter
zest of 1 orange
2 tbsp poppy seeds

Preparation

A delicious recipe from Tiense Suiker: poppy seed and orange waffles, made with the WA 2224 Top Fill Waffle Maker.

Mix the flour, Tiense Extra Fine sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Put the milk, eggs, and melted butter in another bowl. Whisk until light and airy. Add to the flour mixture.

Add the zest of 1 orange and the poppy seeds. Mix everything together and let the batter rest for 10 minutes.

Preheat the waffle iron and pour in some waffle batter. Bake the waffles until done.

Tips

Serve with Greek yogurt and fruit.
