Popcorn in the SnackTastic® Airfryer

Popcorn in the SnackTastic® Airfryer

Ingredients

  • 50 g unpopped corn kernels

  • ½ teaspoon oil (optional, for extra flavor and color)

  • Pinch of salt or other flavorings of your choice (e.g. paprika powder, cinnamon, caramel, cheese powder…)

Also needed

  • Small oven dish or aluminum tray that fits in your air fryer

  • Lid or aluminum foil with small holes (to prevent it from flying away)

  • FRITEL SnackTastic® Airfryer

Preparation

Set your air fryer to 200°C and let it preheat for 2 to 3 minutes.

Mix the corn kernels with the oil (optional) and place them in an oven dish or aluminum tray. 

Cover it with aluminum foil and poke a few small holes in it to let steam escape while keeping the popcorn inside.

Place the tray in the air fryer. 

Let the popcorn pop for about 8–10 minutes. 

Do not keep pulling out the drawer; let it do its job.

As soon as the popping stops or slows down, it is ready. 

Carefully remove the popcorn from the air fryer and season with salt or another spice mix of your choice.

Tips

Variation tips:

  • Sweet: Add powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar after popping.

  • Spicy: Use chili powder or cayenne pepper.

  • Cheesy flavor: Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese or cheese powder.
