Stuffed pizza waffles

Ingredients

Waffles:

  • 8 sheets of croissant dough

  • Bag of grated cheese

  • Toppings of your choice: e.g. pepperoni

Sauce:

  • Tomato sauce 

Extra:

  • Oil or baking spray

Also needed

WaffleTastic® CW 3628/3638/3648/3658/3668 with baking plates for stuffed waffles

Preparation

  • Roll out the croissant dough into 8 triangles, stick them together in pairs so that you get 4 rectangles.

  • Fill one half with cheese and pepperoni and fold closed. Then cut them into 2 rectangles and press the edges shut with a fork.

  • Grease the waffle iron with a little oil or baking spray, set it to the highest setting and bake the waffles for about 1.5 minutes until golden brown.

  • Serve warm with tomato sauce for dipping.
