Egg fried rice

Ingredients

  • 150 g rice
  • 300 ml water
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/2 bell pepper
  • 50 g frozen peas
  • Corn

Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 2 tsp Cajun spices

Optional:

  • Sesame seeds
  • Spring onion

Preparation

Put the rice and water in the rice cooker.
Add the chopped vegetables and stir briefly.
Let the rice cooker do its work.
When the rice cooker is done, crack the egg into it and mix it immediately with the hot rice.
Mix all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and pour over the rice.
Garnish with spring onion and optionally some sesame seeds or fried onions for extra crunch.
