Savory Madeleines with Ham and Roquefort

Ingredients

  • 110 g flour
  • 100 g ham
  • 50 g grated Gruyère cheese
  • 50 g butter
  • 40 g Roquefort cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch Herbes de Provence
  • Salt, pepper

Preparation

Beat the eggs.
Gradually add the flour and baking powder.
Add the melted butter and mix into a smooth batter.
Stir in the crumbled Roquefort, grated Gruyère, herbs, and finely chopped ham.
Season with pepper and a little salt.

Preheat the WaffleTastic on the lowest setting until the green light turns on.
Place it on the hottest setting and brush the madeleine plates with a little oil.
Fill the madeleine molds about ¾ full with batter.
Close the waffle iron and bake the madeleines for 2.5 minutes.
Carefully remove them and let them cool briefly on a rack.
