Autumn vitamins in an apple, pear and ginger smoothie

2 portions
2 pieces


  • 1 medium sweet apple
  • 1 pear
  • 20 gm fresh spinach leaves (handful)
  • 1 fresh gingerroot
  • 1 lemon
  • 250 ml water or coconut water


  1. Peel the apples and pears, remove the cores and cut into pieces
  2. Grate the ginger and add 1 teaspoon of it
  3. Squeeze the lemon
  4. Put the pieces of apple, pear, (coconut) water, 1 teaspoon of grated ginger and lemon juice in the blender
  5. Blend everything into a smoothie


  • Use baby spinach instead of regular spinach for an even softer flavour and texture
  • Do you like it sweet? Add a teaspoon of honey
