Madeleines

Ingredients

  • 75 gm of butter
  • 100 gm of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 110 gm of flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 lemon

Preparation

Melt the butter in a saucepan or microwave and let it cool.

Wash the lemon thoroughly and grate the zest.

Whisk the eggs and sugar until creamy.

Add the flour and baking powder and mix well.

Pour in the melted butter and add the lemon zest.

Mix everything thoroughly again.

Let the batter rest for 30 minutes.

Turn on the FRITEL WaffleTastic® with the madeleine baking plates, set to level 4.

Fill the madeleine molds with the batter using a piping bag.

Bake the madeleines for 4 minutes, and they are ready.
