Pasta pomodoro in a raclette pan

Ingredients


Mini penne
Olive oil
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tin of tomato cubes
1 clove of garlic, finely chopped or pressed
Oregano
Basil
Pepper and salt
grated cheese

Preparation


Boil the mini penne in advance according to the instructions on the package. Stir in a dash of olive oil to prevent them from sticking.
Heat olive oil in a cooking pot.
Fry the finely chopped onion and the chopped or pressed garlic in the olive oil.
Add the tomato cubes.
Season to taste with oregano, pepper and salt.
Leave to simmer for 15 minutes and add the basil at the end.
In the raclette pan:
Put some pasta and tomato sauce in a pan.
Sprinkle with grated cheese and leave to gratinate under the grill.

Tips


You can add extra flavour by adding pancetta, ham, vegetables.
Adding a stock cube to the sauce can also give an extra powerful taste.
You want it spicy? Then add a fresh, finely chopped pepper to the onion and garlic.
