Traditional waffles (6x10)



500 gm flour
300 gm granulated sugar
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp baking soda or baking powder
20 gm of vanilla sugar
400 gm butter 
6 eggs


Put the flour, the salt, the baking powder, the granulated sugar and the vanilla sugar in a deep bowl. Make a pit in the middle. Melt the butter in a small pan or in the micro wave oven. Add the eggs to the butter. Whisk to foam with the FRITEL Hand Blender with whisks and pour this mixture into the pit of the other bowl. Mix the dough until you have a smooth mixture with the FRITEL Hand Blender. Leave the dough to rest for at least an hour. Take your FRITEL Combi Waffle Maker, insert the 6x10 baking plates for waffles and preheat the appliance. Depending on the dough you have prepared and your personal taste, you will have to choose the correct temperature setting. This will also influence the baking time.


Make sure your ingredients are at room temperature. 
Before you start baking it is advisable to grease the baking plates with a little bit of oil, even if they are covered with a non-stick coating. 
To avoid lumps in your dough, it is better to sieve the flour before use. 
Use the FRITEL waffle fork to remove the waffles easily from the appliance. 
Allow the waffles to cool down on a grid.
