Veggie burger
1 can of chickpeas (400 gr), drained
1 can of corn (150 gr), drained
1 spring onion, finely chopped
half a red bell bell pepper, finely chopped
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp curry powder
100 gr breadcrumbs
4 tbsp olive oil
Pepper and salt
Bun and toppings (of your choice)
4 hamburger buns
Iceberg lettuce
Tomato
Red onion
Sauce of your choice (mayonnaise)

BL 4270 Hi-Efficiency Blender
Coarsely puree the chickpeas and corn until nicely combined in our BL 4270 Hi-Efficiency Blender.
Mix in the spring onion, bell bell pepper, cumin and curry powder.
Season with salt and pepper and mix in 4 tbsp of breadcrumbs.
Let stand for 10 min. This will make the mixture firmer.
Turn the mixture into 4 to 5 burgers.
Sprinkle the rest of the breadcrumbs on a plate and press the burgers into the breadcrumbs on both sides.
Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the burgers for 4 minutes over medium-high heat. Flip them halfway through (so 2 x 2 min).
Heat The CW with the grill and lightly brush or spray the top and bottom with oil.
Grill the burgers for 4 min, flipping them halfway through.
Serve hot between a burger bun with toppings of your choice.
TIP: also grill the buns briefly until crispy
