WaffleTastic® Mini pancakes with powdered sugar

Ingredients

Waffles

200 gr pastry flour (sifted)

15 gr fresh yeast

400 ml milk (lukewarm= +- 30°C)

2 gr salt

5 gr sugar

1,5 cl dried yeast

1 egg

50 gr butter (melted)

Topping

powdered sugar

Extra

Oil or baking spray

Preparation

Take the yeast and dissolve it in the lukewarm milk

Put the flour in a mixing bowl and make a well in the center. Add the salt and sugar on the edges.

Pour some of the yeast mixture into the well and whisk into a smooth batter.

Add the egg and then gradually whisk the rest of the yeast mixture into the batter.

Add the melted butter to the batter and mix.

Place a damp cloth over the bowl and let rest for 10 min.

Take your FRITEL waffle iron with the mini pancakes baking plates, set to thermostat position 4 to 5 and let your waffle iron heat up.

Take your piping can and fill it with the batter.

Fill the 15 cavities of the mini pancakes baking tray with dough, close your waffle iron and bake +/- 3 min.

Serve warm with powdered sugar.
